I've occasionally had viewers throw out some stellar ideas when I get stumped as well, which was super surprising and something I hadn't even considered being a possibility when I started. I also think it is good that there are some channels (such as Monstercat) that create content that isn't copyrighted and can be used by other streams. Personally, I love it! As a dude who makes chiptune music, I love being able to stream the creative process for people. I like the idea of the Music channel! I think it is really good that Twitch is expanding to new types of content, while not falling back into what caused the end of JTV. Most of my artists are sick of me talking about Twitch for musicians, but I think it is a fantastic resource for any type of artist or label. I work with indie bands and I love it. Monstercat has Label Showcases, pretty much like their own little show, and they stream them on Twitch so others who can't go can see them, and thats really cool. New comments cannot be posted and votes cannot be cast. I personally, Love Monstercat, so when i found out that they were apart of the program i was extremely happy. I've never actually went into the guitar streams, cause im always in Monstercat Chatting cause there's a crap ton off people there. I like the performance aspect of Music - Channels such as ChewieMelodies and Lost_in_House who are performers (But very different) is the high point of the Music category. Yea, The VOD friendly thing is really helpful to some people. Twitch is a place where music creators, like you, can share your art with a community of millions, and build a place to connect with your most passionate fans. In addition, partnering with events such as Ultra brings lots of traffic to the site and gives people something very good to watch - especially with how well organized they are. The 24/7 music streams are really cool for those who just need something on in the background while they get stuff done, and I love people like Neet who are kind of pioneering the idea of Twitch radio sessions. But if someone starts with twitch isn't justin.tv anymore, their arguments are invalid because in that case neither music nor creative belong here. Let users favorite the channels so they can easily find the ones they enjoy the most watching in the beginning of the following list / bar. But otherwise when it comes to the Creative channels, people go crazy. I was watching a guy just play guitar along with some stuff or just play and sing. I think it's a cool idea. Both belong to twitch for very good reasons. Music is somehow important for streaming so they have their deserved place. /r/Twitch is an unofficial place for discussions surrounding the streaming website Twitch.tv. I can't thank Twitch enough for allowing me to do it, and having people like Kush walk into my channel (although I was a tad bit drunk at the time) has made me incredibly happy about the Music-channel being there. As a DJ I was bored of doing it live (been DJing semi-professionally for over 15 years) and going live on Twitch with it has really made me start enjoying my Craft again. Monstercat now has a Sub button, and is One of the top 50 channels (followers).
